The pay for this position ranges from $75000 - $85000.

 

 

About the Role:

FuelCell Energy is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Associate with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for various manufacturing, support and engineering positions to support our organization’s operational needs. This position is ideal for someone with experience in sourcing and hiring for manufacturing and hourly workforce roles. You will recruit for positions such as production operators, assemblers, machine technicians, and various engineering roles.

The ideal candidate brings excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions efficiently. Experience in high-volume recruiting is a plus, and familiarity with applicant tracking systems is desired.

This is a hybrid role based in Danbury, Connecticut, with an in-office requirement of three days per week. You will partner closely with hiring managers across the business to source, engage, and hire top talent. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting and sourcing role that requires strong business acumen, creativity, and the ability to execute quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with a high-volume requisition load with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Assist in understanding and implementing sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent across job boards, social platforms, talent communities, and competitive markets.
  • Facilitate full-cycle recruiting, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and candidate experience.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers by providing market insights, pipeline updates, and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain a high bar for candidate quality while meeting aggressive hiring timelines.
  • Track and manage candidate activity in SuccessFactors (ATS) with precision and compliance.
  • Support talent acquisition process optimization and efficiency efforts.
  • Represent FuelCell Energy’s brand with professionalism and consistency in all candidate interactions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to provide timely updates on recruitment progress and next steps.
  • Assist in the process of creating dashboards and data analytics around talent acquisition metrics and deliverables for managers and the executive leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 4 years of recruiting experience with strong sourcing capability for hourly manufacturing roles.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Experience operating as a recruiter, managing competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional sourcing skills, passive outreach, and competitive intelligence.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Recruiting experience within manufacturing or similar industries is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred), job boards and sourcing tools.
