The pay for this position ranges from $87000 - $96000.
Overview:
The Global Service Planning, Senior Planner is responsible for global fleet planning and management in support of all activities related to commissioning, operation, and maintenance (preventive and corrective) of our fuel cell power plants. The successful candidate will be accountable for all fleet planning initiatives and ensure the objectives and goals of the Generation & Service business are attained. Take lead in planning for our global fleet and working closely with our field service managers and supervisors to coordinate and schedule activities in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Create and communicate detailed schedules for field service technician team and vendors for all field activities.
- Plan and execute the existing maintenance schedules to ensure fiscal year budget is not compromised.
- Ensures constant communication with field service and customer service managers, and other relevant teams to ensure maximum power plant availability and performance and customer requirements are met.
- Organize the planned activity and coordinate with supply chain to request for quotes, ensure parts shipments, initiating purchase orders and coordinate vendor visit to site.
- Provide data analysis for fiscal year planning, volume studies and participate in fiscal year budget planning.
- Review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) including assessing costs, functionality and part numbers.
- Establishes and coordinates fleet management plans for the implementation of ECO’s across the fleet.
- Assists Engineering in developing/updating maintenance manuals.
- Participate in the development to team processes and documentation.
- Takes lead in identifying and locating a part or arranging a vendor during for a Non-Generation Asset condition.
- May require after hour or weekend on-call support during emergency situations.
- Provides budgeting information for all planned maintenance and fleet improvements into the yearly financial budgeting process.
- Be a positive role model embodying the organization’s values and vigorously review all work to ensure high quality standard.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience: Associates degree(bachelors preferred) ), required. 3 to 5 years plus experience in related feild. Aftermarket, services or production planning strongly desired.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Asset Management Systems such as MS D365, MS Project, and/or other similar maintenance planning tools.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Project management skills to drive all the planning for the maintenance cycles
- Experience planning and performing maintenance and ordering parts in an industrial, manufacturing.
- Must be quick to grasp system interrelationships using mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation inputs.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic print reading, including P&IDs, wiring loop diagrams, and one-line drawings.
- Must have a working knowledge of most hand tools and test equipment (process meter and thermocouple reader).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong people orientation and relationship building skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Must be able to work mostly in an office environment (hybrid opportunities may exist).
- Must have a valid driver's license through the duration of employment.
- Must be willing to travel minimal, domestic and international in support of duties at FCE fuel cell power plant sites.
- Must have or be able to successfully obtain and maintain a current US passport.
- Must have or be able to successfully obtain and maintain an international driver's permit.
